Coming to a laptop near you: A new type of security chip from Microsoft

  First question that comes to mind, and hopefully someone knowledgeable can correct if I've made a bad assumption. Will this interfere with running Linux on said systems? Based on my rudimentary understanding, it's TPM-in-the-CPU so it shouldn't interfere.

    My impression is that it's like the secure enclaves on various chips that already exist.
