Ask HN: Feedback on a microservices platform with focus on time to market
I have worked on multiple products for various companies and everywhere we ended up solving the same problems with slight variation like,
User authentication and authorization.
Notifications like email or push.
Monitoring.
User engagement analytics.
Domain specific analytics and machine learning etc.
Fintech specific services like KYC.
There are many tools that do offer these features but integrating those is a challenge and they become expensive soon.
I am talking about microservices application that has multiple services, a mix of front end, back end and file or data processing services.
I am thinking about building a micro services platform that offers all of these common components along with some fintech specific components like KYC, document storage and search etc and going forward keep on adding new domain specific services based on customer demand.
It can reduce the time to market and overall cost and hiring can be focussed on the core domain only.
HN, In your opinion, is that something worth building ?

- nemofastfinder 5y agoyes, I have used it. However, I want to add domain specific services on top of that.
