I'm self employed. The laptop is my main "tool". If I was in construction this would be comparable to a van load of power tools and then some. I spend more time using it than any other tool I have. It's also a taxable expense. So for me the £2000+ I paid for my laptop to max it out to the extreme is money well spent. Did I mention it's a taxable expense?
