I have a lot of friends who are rich ( I'm not doing bad in general, but it's nothing in comparison). I don't think it's possible in general for them/me to have friends who are poor, since you can't talk about certain things because of the reason you cite. The only leg up with rich friends (outside of them being friends!) is that you can use their social network if you have a certain goal. Just be wise about spending credits. Ps. Just mentioning that you would like to speak less about financial stuff should be fine. They'll understand if you're both friends ( not acquaintances)
