Could you explain that then, because honestly I can't fathom how a "hard left" pendulum swing has created our current issues. The US has arguably been swinging to the right for decades, and certainly is pretty right-wing compared to most other western democratic nations.
- rjbwork 5y agoYou probably won't get a good answer. The conception of political "wings" and the current FPTP party duopoly along those wings is hilariously narrow in the US. Our Overton window ranges from "genocidal fascists" to "okay maybe the government should build roads sometimes".
