I don't really agree with this article.
That said, I don't think schools are necessarily the problem. Parenting, and the ability to be proper parents, is the problem.
most parents don't have time to be parents. They're either working double jobs, which leaves little to no time for kids, or they're just putting kids in school to avoid parenting.
I feel like it's a two-way street here. I also think parents are puling kids out of school because they don't want kids to catch Covid, not because the parents _don't_ want to catch Covid. Good parents will do what's best for their kid, and I feel like many parents are trying to be good parents!
It doesn't help that parents are given bad information. There's no trustworthy source of information anymore, outside of your doctors, at least regarding health. But, doctors don't have time to tell every parent what they should / shouldn't do.
Eh, TLDR, the whole system is effed, and people are blaming the easiest targets.
