Covid is less of a problem in all countries with Malaria because they use Hydroxychloroquine to treat the Malaria which is also clinically proven to stop Covid.

- rsynnott 5y ago... I mean, beyond the lack of evidence for efficacy, which countries in Africa routinely use HCQ anyway? Most malarial African countries have chloroquine-resistant malaria, so HCQ would not generally be recommended. It's mostly only useful in parts of the Americas at this point, AIUI.
- KingMob 5y agoAssuming the hydroxychloroquine worked, how do you know it isn't treating malaria in patients who have both covid AND malaria, and therefore appears to help with covid?
