Switched to using bubble wrap and black plastic to wrap the trees this year. Went so so much faster and easier than any other method I’ve tried.
What technique do you like for winterizing?
- tastysandwich 5y agoI've never actually heard of that to be honest! But I'm in Melbourne, where winters are fairly mild. All I do is give them a good prune.
- enchiridion 5y agoAh fair enough. In regions where it gets cold enough to damage the wood in the winter people wrap them. It’s pretty common in Brooklyn NYC to see fig trees wrapped in tar paper.
