Good list. Also, Taiwan drought and Texas freezing impacted some fabs last year.
- tuatoru 5y agoAnd the fire in Ajinomoto's factory that makes Ajinomoto Buildup Film, used in high-end chips, briefly cut production of those. I vaguely recall a shortage of epoxy resins as well. (For packaging chips, and for printed-circuit boards). It seems like more went wrong than usually does in 2020-21, even leaving aside the pandemic.
