- temikus 5y agoThat’s one of the fun things you get to do in a giant company - careful performance tuning on large systems can yield some really massive results. And because of that it’s easy to get leadership support for those types of projects. Saved tens of thousands of cores myself at GOOG once by doing some careful autoscaler tuning for 3 months or so.
