Dallas homicide numbers dropped by 13% in 2021. How?
- throwawaysea 5y agoIs it possible that the efforts to defund police and go soft on crime in other cities simply drew away criminal activity? If you’re a criminal and you have cities like SF excusing all property crime below $1000 or Seattle tolerating CHAZ for weeks, why go conduct crime in a place where the risks and consequences are greater?

- peoplefromibiza 5y agoIn Italy it went down 14% without doing anything special. Lock downs seem to be a good way to reduce homicide numbers all over the Planet, except for the US.
