I noticed this too over the past couple of years. Google, Alphabet, and its shareholders don't care because they are still making so much money. I truly think it's by design to further ruin the state of the internet, just my opinion. Has anyone else noticed how many important websites, such as news organizations, have Taboola or similar ads? Like it's the only way to make any money online. Sensationalized paginated joke content with ads on every page. It's crazy how many websites are scrapping stackoverflow and getting on the first page of google results. Like, is it hard to check if identical content is on stackoverflow? lol it's not hard.
