A NoSQL (originally referring to "non-SQL" or "non-relational")[1] database provides a mechanism for storage and retrieval of data that is modeled in means other than the tabular relations used in relational databases.
- adroitboss 5y agoThank you for pointing that out, but then the name NoSQL would be a misnomer. There must be multiple ways of storing relational data without including SQL. Someone above mentioned graph databases as a good example.
