Depends on the dialect, “toss me the f*ing salt, would ya” is also acceptable.
(edit: but after writing this I note that ‘would ya’ is a contraction of ‘would you kindly’, so maybe I have defeated my own point)
- spurtrenolds 5y agoSeconded. One would be far more likely to hear "Oi, cunt, the salt" here in Blightly than in the USA.
