- kortex 5y ago> Zero people died from the [Fukushima] plant. Chernobyl had something like 60 direct deaths and a few hundred to thousand long term deaths. That is equivalent to about one day of coal.
- max002 5y agoIt's really easier to get rid of carbon than get rid of atomic waste. And i don't defend carbon, im for wind and solar as safer than two mentioned above. And you dont count deformations that came after. There's lots of it if you search for them. Carbon damage doesnt come close and you can get a nice filter. There's really no escape from radiation unless you shelter yourself with enough of lead and rocks. Maybe go live underground cause your standard carbon filter wont work on atomic fallout.
