From what I can tell, it does nothing to raise the "obvious" bar, especially where companies take every patent over the last 50 years and append "on the Internet" or "on a tablet" to them. It also doesn't obviate the need for huge patent arsenals. Why is this a positive change, or is it only one for large companies with stables of patent lawyers?
