That sounds incredibly fun! We were repeatedly banned from playing "Stretch". 2 players stand facing each other with their feet together. They take turns throwing a knife into the ground, and their opponent must move the closest foot sideways so that it is in-line with the knife. If the knife doesn't stick in the ground the opponent puts their feet back together. First person to fall over loses. I'm sure everyone had their own rules, and this was not that long ago (surely!) in Australia.
