The main problem I see is from the search engine angle.
Onion sites are indexed to some extent by search engines, like https://www.ahmia.fr/ https://www.ahmia.fr/. But usually users need to know the onion link beforehand to visit a particular site, mostly done from Hidden Wiki.
Afaik, i2p's eepsites do not have a proper search engine and if users need to hop on a particular site they will have to know the URL beforehand. Identitygup.i2p has only select lists of URL's, many of them not being updated.
IPFS though has a search engine, https://ipfs-search.com/#/ https://ipfs-search.com/#/, which seems to work pretty good.
ENS (.eth, .sol, .luna), Unstoppable domains, handshake/namebase, IPFS websites, onion/i2p/zeronet/freenet/lokinet and others will need to get indexed and accessible by a normal user with search engine easily. Until then, all of these trying to counter ICANN/traditional DNS system are pretty much useless.
