Looks like this article is overly focused on public tech firms. The author totally missed the merchant and trader castes from India (many from Gujarat and Kerala) founding and running large firms in the US (chains of restaurants, gas stations, convenience stores, motels etc.). I'm sure there are many keralites in the middle east running similar large firms, most of which might not be publicly traded.
