- TeeMassive 5y agoThey had 1000 community cases today https://www.health.govt.nz/our-work/diseases-and-conditions/covid-19-novel-coronavirus/covid-19-data-and-statistics/covid-19-current-cases https://www.health.govt.nz/our-work/diseases-and-conditions/...

- lostlogin 5y agoEconomically or in terms of mortality/morbidity, it’s not obvious that there was a better strategy for New Zealand. The article claims that covid is in all Antarctic bases, but I wasn’t aware that Scott base had any. I can’t find any reports of it either. Edit: Their report from August had it covid free. https://www.antarcticanz.govt.nz/media/news/antarctica-new-zealand-covid-19-update https://www.antarcticanz.govt.nz/media/news/antarctica-new-z...
- midasuni 5y agoThat’s beside the point. It is possible to keep covid out. There are costs and benefits to that. The ISS has remained covid free. Kiribati has too. Tonga had one person arrive with covid but it didn’t progress.
