- pkamb 15y agoSide-dock is the only way to go.
- abrowne 15y agoYeah, I don't know if I could use OS X without defaults write com.apple.dock pinning start and either defaults write com.apple.dock orientation right or defaults write com.apple.dock orientation left

- petercooper 15y agoI've always hated it and I tend to revert/like the defaults over time (out of simplicity). A 3 dimensional UI element smack bang on an otherwise 2D environment sticks out like a sore thumb and is totally unnecessary when the 2D variant is both attractive and direct.
