Ask HN: Have there been periods in your SDE job where you were not improving?
By improvement, I mean in terms of individual skills/knowledge and not w.r.t promotions and hikes. How did you tackle the individual lethargy in such periods
- vimax 5y agoSoftware engineering is about modeling the world. Sometimes you need more world experience than modeling techniques. It's important from time to time to take a break and learn something new, otherwise all you'll know is how to model software and not the real world.
