A Series of Rooms Occupied by Ghislaine Maxwell
- watersb 5y agoThis is a fantastic, long-form essay on crimes committed by Ghislane Maxwell, and the criminal-justice system that eventually brought her to trial, written by someone who was themselves a victim of sexual predators as a child. >> We have arrived at this moment of global awareness around child sex trafficking not because there’s a sudden escalation of powerful men preying on young people, but because we have found a way to name something that’s been happening forever. << I couldn't not choose some pull quote that sums it up, as I was pulled into the narrative and found myself reading the whole thing through. I highly recommend that you do the same.
