- Ekaros 5y agoFreezing to death is free... And great for climate. Intercontinental connections are possible, but what options we have Africa, Russia and Middle-East? Not exactly stable options. So local production is only real solution and nuclear is very reasonable option from carbon standpoint.
- hasmanean 5y agoI was being sarcastic. They may be cheaper but nothing is cheaper than a plant that does not need to be built. Getting rid of nuclear to reduce electricity supply and then supplanting that with wind/solar is borderline evil.
