I would like to see NFT as actual non fungible money token.
Like a QR code that can be scan once, then change a state on-chain once it’s done.
And peg to a stable coin.
Could that allow to “print money”?
Maybe some wallet can already do that.
- nathias 5y agoDo you mean non-transferable not non fungible? You can make that, for example to use as NTFs for permissions to enter a DAO where membership is not transferrable.
- dopidopHN 5y agoI would like to print a QR code that is worth 10 bucks, being able to pass is around as I please while being protected about double spending. Only one scan is possible
- nathias 5y agoI think its doable. You implement minting contract to be triggered by scanning QR code, and each minting contract to self-destruct/stop working after minting one token. You also need to have a treasury where the 10 dollars would live, either another smart-contract prefilled with stable coins that are redeemable from sending the token to the contract.
