So, yeah, most crypto people don’t have the faintest clue how it works. And it’s kind of weird to embrace this very hyped/vc’d tech, while remaining mum on all the already decentralized tech that’s the bedrock of the internet. And exchanges + crypto is basically legacy decentralized web tech + Google/Meta. But one thing that I do have to say is interesting about the tech is embedding smart contracts. This is legitimately interesting and novel, and probably the best justification for web3 tech.
