How is event ticketing currently broken (or sub-ideal) and what is their fix?
- ssss11 5y agoI haven’t read the article but event ticketing is broken in that a small subset of people scoop up the tickets and on sell (scalp) them for profit, if they fixed that it would a positive
- acdha 5y agoHow does this company fix that? Scalping is allowed as a business decision by the ticket seller and there’s no reason why someone buying tickets now couldn’t buy an NFT just as easily. The extra costs from using a blockchain are just a business expense for them.
