Thanks for your input! I think what I'm grappling with currently is my new employer is more interested in fast work rather than learning. Even when I've spent a half day tinkering or digging into the code myself, the response is always "just ask where to find it and do it". Everyone seems nice enough, but unfortunately this pattern has also lead to boring and uninteresting work. To the point that I've actually started reaching out to new companies since the work here is significantly less interesting than what I was tasked with at the previous startup I worked for.
