No one is complaining about the most offensively ignorant line in the Scientific American article, so I will: “ First, the so-called normal distribution of statistics assumes that there are default humans who serve as the standard that the rest of us can be accurately measured against.” No such thing is remotely true. This line is a deep embarrassment to the magazine, even in an opinion piece. Do they not even have editors???
