The parent makes a fair point (and period vs modern tech really isn't the issue). But even if the photos were on completely equal footing, I think the genius of the improvements shown would be no less stunning.
- jacquesm 5y agoI don't think it is possible to bring the old photographs up to the same level as the ones for the new situation, it is probably hard enough to find such photographs in the first place. So the only way that I can think of would then be to make the new photographs with old processes and gear. That would be a funny exercise in itself.
