Playable English Localizations of Slovak Digital Games from the Late 80s Period
- josefrichter 5y agoGreat to see projects like this supported by government funding and seen as art preservation! I remember playing some of these games growing up, great job.
- rpastuszak 5y agogot anything to recommend?
- ycombinete 5y agoA Slovak friend has informed me that there's an easter egg in Šatochin if you type KGB into the keyboard
- mmahemoff 5y agoGreat project. It's good to see early video games being preserved in efforts like this. I wonder if the games can be made playable directly in the browser with one of the DOS emulators?
- justsomehnguy 5y ago... they are already? Click on the game name and there would be an emulator frame, just click on it; eg https://scd.sk/hra/satochin/ https://scd.sk/hra/satochin/
- mmahemoff 5y agoNice. I missed those links and thought it was just a repo to download them from. I suggest they make the screenshot grid clickable to the respective game page.
- mattl 5y agoThey're all ZX Spectrum games I think.
- dhosek 5y agoI'd imagine the ZX Spectrum would be even more amenable to a browser-embedded emulation.
- steviedotboston 5y agoWould love to see someone find a copy of Duki Duki Snail.
