It says a lot that most of this is counter inspired by Ruby
- Toutouxc 5y agoExactly six of these points are counter-inspired by Ruby, some of those very subjective ("No unless or other counter-intuitive-prone operators"), some duplicate (Ruby meta-programming used twice as a reason). The autor says they like Ruby but then use the most Ruby things as counter-examples.
- redbar0n 5y agoTrue. The curse of familiarity. I love Ruby though, in its own right. Even though I dream of simpler and more predictable virtues.
