Decided to try using my studio as a collaboration space / quasi-gallery for a while on the advice of a friend. Thought it would be interesting to show some weird art, music writing by folks working in software and collaborate a little maybe. If you're interested drop a link to a project in here. Its a super small space but regardless Id love to see what folks are up to. --- Also just to be clear the intention is not to make it a traditional art gallery that represents people etc. Im an artist with a full time dev job and a family so I definitely don't have the bandwidth to pretend to be a traditional gallerist. Its incredibly difficult work. Also Ive worked with enough struggling traditional galleries to know how futile and toxic well-intentioned gallery projects can get so very much trying to avoid those pitfalls. Just trying to keep it minimal, sustainable and hopefully weird.
