Right. But there is one more point. We also plan to build coal-fired power plants, which are cleaner in terms of the total cost of ownership, decommission coal plants, build new gas-fired power plants, run them for only a few years, and then shut them down.
Energy policy in Germany is strange, expensive and a threat to the industrial competitiveness.
- rad_gruchalski 5y agoYup. And instead of working on reducing electricity prices they will bump diesel prices by €0.18/litre so it all “looks better”.
- londons_explore 5y agoAt very high electricity prices, just running your own diesel generator and disconnecting from the grid makes sense.
