> Still, I made a claim (the C Language will never stop you from making mistakes), and therefore I need to substantiate it.
Naturally this clickbait cannot be substantiated, since it only needs to save me from one mistake to falsify it. And my compiler does that 50 or 100 times a day when writing a lot of code.
- quocanh 5y agoIt would be falsified if the title was "the C language will let you make every mistake" when the article is actually about a real-world example about a mistake that the C language could very easily stop you from making but will not. The title is actually "the C language will never stop you from making mistakes" and that's different in a subtle way.
- xigoi 5y agoThe title is worded ambiguously. I interpreted it as “C will never cause you to make no mistakes”.
