Ahhhh the utopian thought of an apocalypse in which all the entrenched interests (but not us engineers!) will magically disappear, after which we can rebuild in peace without all these concerns of 'backwards compatibility' and the demands of 'other stakeholders'.
Let the second coming of the dot-com crash bring salvation to us all :)
- trabant00 5y agoNot like that. But it will mature over crysis like all old industries. And of course engineers are not saints, we will get our wake up call as well. I did in 2008 for example.
