If autoimmune disease can be prevented/cured by infection with symbiotic helminths and protists, why don't we treat people with these conditions by giving them

If autoimmune disease can be prevented/cured by infection with symbiotic helminths and protists, why don't we treat people with these conditions by giving them (controlled) infections ?
