- bamboozled 5y agoFirst the Zuck steals your attention, then he steals your land...
- MrJagil 5y agoAnother year is almost over. These days, in my early thirties, seeing people without homes, knowing families struggling through divorce and job security, i really do get teary eyed. How is it that china can have concentration camps… there’s no point. I dont blame Zuckerberg, i blame myself and us for believing in capitalism, for chasing riches, i blame liberalism. “Be yourself, realize yourself, live your dreams”… No… Be there for those around you, hear their drems, realize them…
- peakaboo 5y agoCapitalism is a cancer since money is the power to bypass anything. Want to buy judges, legal systems, education, media, science (this one people don't understand that it's bought yet)... It's all possible.
- saargrin 5y agounlike Communism where none of that is possible and you instead use connections and backstabbing politics
- mgamache 5y agoCommunism is cyanide gas. Just kill large parts of the population that don't comply or use them as subjects in ideological experiments that fail and kill millions.
- CodeGlitch 5y ago> Want to buy judges, legal systems, education, media, science (this one people don't understand that it's bought yet)... It's all possible That happens under other systems as well you know... Including communism.
- LinuxBender 5y agoBuying a property that contains a dam sounds risky. Not just because of the tragic event but also not being native. All of my native Hawaiian friends that have land have told me they would fight to the death to keep the land in their family and I am told that is a very common sentiment among the remaining native Hawaiian's. It seems he found an exception. Money talks. Still, I would not want to be surrounded by people that despise me. That sounds very high maintenance and risky. Having so much beautiful land should be a calming and spiritual experience.
- vanusa 5y agoStill, I would not want to be surrounded by people that despise me. You obviously are the main protagonist in the article. Who never seems to have had a problem with being in that position.
