If you want to know how easy dating will be in a city, just checkout the gender ratios. LA has one of the worst for a straight guy. This means someone like myself would never find a partner. Imagine two cities 4000 miles apart. In PoorCity unemployment is 45%, and due to bizarre zoning laws a 1bdrm is 3800$. In GoodCity, unemployment is 3% and a 1bdrm is 1100$. Which city would you rather live in ? Where do you think life will be easier ? You can read a dozen books on finding a job, won't really help if your in PoorCity. Likewise dating books are essentially useless since I've never seen one address gender ratios. I've had no trouble outside of LA. In fact I dated a girl who took the initiative to introduce herself. She was beyond great! More than worth moving for ! Did I mention I really really hate driving ? I'm saving so much money now that I'm car free.
