Apple uses Widevine for Apple TV content not Fairplay, maybe ever since they licensed Apple TV on non-Apple televisions?

  Apple TV+ also lets you stream through a web browser, though that's their least-publicized delivery method.

    The UI is also terrible. I always end up on the marketing page for a show and have to figure out how to be redirected to the page that actually lets me stream.

  I think they use Widevine in Chrome but Fairplay in Safari? And presumably Fairplay if you’re using the official app on one of their platforms.
