Instead of coming up with more busywork for developers, disallow real names and storing of addresses / payment info. Fix ancient tax laws to not require storing financial info for decades. Move all personal info to the browser.

They also want someone else to take care of collating and warehousing the data for them. The laws aren't outdated, they are just incompatible with maintaining privacy in the 'connected' era.

- nickff 5y agoThe laws are relatively recent; how are they outdated? I think they have significant flaws, but that doesn't make them outdated. Governments have plenty of laws and regulations which cause tremendous collateral damage.
