How is this any better than just searching DailyMed? Also, it's not returning generic drug labels when using a brand name (see: 'Avastin' vs 'bevacizumab' searches).
- westcort 5y agoAdmittedly, it is not much better given that the same data forms the basis for the search, but this site is arguably faster once loaded and links directly to the package insert without the expansion sections on DailyMed (I don't like them personally).
- westcort 5y agoAlso, it can do this: https://locserendipity.com/RxInfo.html?q=atorvastatin https://locserendipity.com/RxInfo.html?q=atorvastatin
- cosmic_shame 5y agoDeduplicating and/or removing repackaged labels might clean that up a bit. How did you get interested in doing this?
- westcort 5y agoI am a pharmacist and in the past found this useful and quicker for accessing up-to-date product labels. I might update this to deduplicate the MD5 hashes and prioritize the brand labels over the repackagers.
- cosmic_shame 5y agoInteresting. I'm a pharmacist too. Still working in pharmacy?
- westcort 5y agoI worked in community pharmacy for several years, but transitioned into medical communications and later started a small company of my own after several years of experience in that industry.
