America needs more science and technology literacy
- rektide 5y agoReciprocally, I feel like technology in particular has descended into an infinite maze of rabbit holes, all unique. Technology could really use some work finding more commonality, defining a better base, making literacy in one realm more cross portable with another. Each application is it's own world (or it's own social network), which has to be re-discovered. Even what small basic roots we had- things like files- have ephemeralized away. What is left to learn that is teachable, that endures, that means anything? Meaning has gone into the clouds.
