During my last job search, one of my criteria was the company has to basically do no harm, that meant: - no adtech/data collection - no social media - no gig economy - no defense/surveillance I ended up choosing between a few enterprise software companies (think Jira, Figma, Asana…) because the harm they cause is very minor while still being successful businesses. It’s definitely a compromise, as I’m coming from a job that actually did real good for 1/3 the salary.
