Does SimpleDB come with native SDKs for iPhone and Android that provide a simple-to-use ORM? Does AWS offer Android/iOS push notification support? Do they offer a built-in user management system?
I mean, really. Read what they offer before commenting.
- mrbgty 15y agoYes, SimpleDB comes with SDKs for iphone and android. For what it's worth, my question was not intended to put down Parse in any way. I've recently been using simplDB and their ios SDK and so was genuinely curious how Parse was better / easier since after reading it, a lot of the code looked like the same basic code I used to set up and use simpleDB in my project using the ios SDK from AWS.
- DenisM 15y agoWhen you want to be rude like this, just assume there is something you don't know, and act politely to figure it out. Worst case you've been polite to an inattentive poster. Best case you learn what was that you missed, that makes the parent post actually make sense. And in any case you make HN a better place for everyone. Pretty please.
