Annoying, but an important signal in a job search. If they don't have it together when they should be putting their best foot forward, they're going to be a complete disaster on the other side.
- jll29 5y agoYes, company recruiters are part of the external face of the company. If they are chaotic - don't sign on. There is, however, one exception to this rule: if recruiting/hiring is outsourced, then one may not interfere too much about the company from recruiters' behavior (there are many corporation where the friendly HR lady next door was replaced by a mailing list in a low cost country).
