Birkenstock sandals for use around the house. Uncomfortable for a couple of days, then incredibly comfortable.
- RileyJames 5y agoYep, I’ve been converted. But last year, rather than the sandal version, I got the closed toe, leather slipper versions. And I wear them everywhere. To the point where the sole wore out in 9 months, but I had a cobbler replace it. My only gripe with the sandals is that rocks, twigs, etc come in from the front. It still happened, but far less commonly with the closed toe.
- wfinn 5y agoI haven’t used mine outdoors yet due to quite an unpredictable climate out here in Ireland. Thanks for the recommendation, may give the fluffy close toe a go!
- JSONderulo 5y agoSame. Used to think they were ugly. Now they're my go-to shoe.
