Microtek hands down the best value for money.
- markvdb 5y agoI presume you mean Mikrotik?
- matdehaast 5y agoYea :) autocorrect is not my friend
- cpach 5y agoDo they comply with the GPL though?
- emptybottle 5y agoHow so?
- bennyp101 5y agoYou can pick up a hAP2 for ~£60 which gives you a LOT of configuration for the money. You can make it as simple or as complicated as you like. The only downside is it's not exactly a point and click GUI - but for what you get for your money they are worth it
- dilyevsky 5y agoOnly if you like to get p0wned (they have terrible security track record)
- watt 5y agoTherey're 10x as careful now, probably. Mikrotik is great at releasing patches, so even if you have old device, you are covered.
- BenjiWiebe 5y agoI've had very little contact with Mikrotik products, but that's the amazing thing about them, to me. Any old Mikrotik device can run the absolute latest firmware (at least as far as I could tell, and I've got a 8+ year old Mikrotik device).
