Neuralink implanted to visual cortex might get you similar feature, but neural "writing" (as opposed to reading, i.e. generating impulses in the brain) is a hard problem – we don't know how to encode the information. One route might be to just dump the signal in the cortex and hoping the brain will learn to interpret it as it does with other senses.
