Nice! example of a Straw Man followed by Ad Hominem, with a touch of No True Scotsman (e.g. if you aren't a racist Ron Paul Liberian, then you aren't a true libertarian). Whether you agree or disagree with a position, one should make their own arguments clearly, directly, and defensibly and this should be respected. Equally, we should recognize politics, propaganda, and empty rhetoric for what it is. There is honestly no mainstream or otherwise political movement I'd align with personally, but things such as open source software, right to repair, and opposition to things like the DCMA and software patents riff on very libertarian ideals. So great! if any of that is important to you, you're racist?
